After a few dismally adolescent musical ventures, Jack decided to give up on trying to "make it" and just wrote and recorded songs for enjoyment that friends and close acquaintances might enjoy. He wrote a handful of songs about his experiences over the past year and a half, about society and comic books and dreams and so forth. When he was done he had 5 tracks that clocked in at approx half an hour.

As is lyrically apparent, there is a "her" and she is very much real. Without her none of this would exist.

A lot of the stuff was improvised in a box room while drinking baileys and eating toast. And Jack has a bunch of new stuff now that might fall victim to the same treatment pretty soon, with the help of musical friends. The other person of significant importance in this is an old friend of Jack’s called Simon James, who recorded and sound engineered the whole EP exactly as envisioned, when he should have been doing work he was actually going to get marked on.
